| PEMBROKE SYNDICATE 4000 INTRODUCES PROFESSIONAL INDEMNITY |

UK-based Pembroke Syndicate 4000 has launched a Professional Indemnity product that will offer comprehensive cover for the Oil and Gas industry worldwide. The cover will be written through parent Ironshore's International global risk platform. The programme will be led by Danny Clack. Ironshore International CEO Mark Wheeler said that "recent oil spill disasters in the Gulf of Mexico and China's Yellow Sea have heightened awareness of the significant risk exposures surrounding such unexpected incidents, and the potential for significant loss within the oil & gas sector on a global basis". He added that the presence of Mr Clack, a "qualified, in-house geologist" would "assure our clients of responsive, integrated underwriting and claims management to meet the insurance demands of this highly technical, and potentially high-risk, sector.".
