Why join Scyllogis?

Here are some of the key reasons why we think you should choose a career with Scyllogis Consulting:

• An opportunity to gain experience in all areas of a business
• A fast growing company and a dynamic environment
• An entrepreneurial culture
• Responsibility from day one

However, why not hear first hand from some of our current team members:

Chris Beazley joined Scyllogis in January 2006 as a Scyllogis Consultant.  A graduate of Birmingham University with a degree in Mathematics, Chris has, in his 12 years since graduating, divided his time between London Market insurance systems and Treasury back-office banking systems. A proven project management track record with a strong technical background, excellent planning, analytical and client facing skills mark Chris out as an extremely effective and proactive consultant.

'I find working with Scyllogis exciting and motivating, due to the interaction, constant challenges and change of the projects I am involved with,  manifested by the lack of an inhibiting structure . It’s important to feel in any position, no matter what stage of your career, that you continue to learn and develop - and change is a hugely motivating factor; new challenges around the corner keep you focused on doing your best at every stage of each project.   I have been involved in a variety of different projects.   I find the challenges and rewards that come with working with Scyllogis highly stimulating and I work with some great people.'

Jonathan Ford joined Scyllogis in 2005 as one of our software developers. A graduate of Hull University, with over 10 years experience of software development within the insurance industry. Jon's experience comprises covering both companies and Lloyd’s markets and insurance and reinsurance. His expertise covers every aspect of insurance systems: policy administration; claims accounts, reporting and interfaces. He is proficient in analysis, design, database design, programming, testing and configuration management.

'Working with a company like Scyllogis, which is expanding in size and constantly evolving as it branches across the Insurance industry, attracted me because I think the company is dynamic, successful and based on a unique concept.  I was particularly interested in the factors that sets it apart from its competitors, and its unique business model.  I also wanted to work with a progressive organisation that would enable me to continue my specialisation of insurance software development utilising my previous experience.  I also really enjoy the way that Scyllogis people work as a team.'
