| New Insurance Technology Congress Takes Shape |

Scyllogis Consulting were excited to attend the official launch event of the inaugural Insurance Technology Congress from ACORD and Insurance Day, held last Thursday in London at Tower 42.
"Things are shaping up well already for this event. Several speakers have already committed to take part. Several sponsors have already agreed to participate as well. " said Roy Laker, Vice President, London Office, ACORD. Names already mentioned for this year's event include: Barnabas Hurst-Bannister, London Market Group; Tim Carroll, Chaucer Syndicates; Carl Phillips, Lloyd's; David Lang, Lloyd's; Colin Cole, Microsoft; and David Smith, Global Futures and Foresight.The Insurance Technology Congress is scheduled for October 11-12, 2011 at the new Grange Tower Bridge hotel in London.
Over the course of the two days, practitioners and key stakeholders will discuss the merits and challenges that process change projects will produce. "Our focus is on how technology can best be used to support business and the ways that business and IT can work together to benefit the company overall," added Laker.
