Sky Insurance Services Group engages Scyllogis!

Sky Insurance Services Group engages Scyllogis as development partner for the next generation of their 'Insurecarhire' B2B application.

Scyllogis have recently announced a new contract with Sky Insurance Services Group (Sky), whereby Scyllogis will take over the ongoing enhancement of the insurecarhire.co.uk application, which allows self drive hire companies to obtain cover for their hirers via a web based application. “This is a fascinating project for us” said Colin Whickman. “Our project with Sky brings Scyllogis Consulting into the broker domain and allows us to work with an application and business model that brings a true e-commerce solution to a niche insurance area. It also allows Scyllogis Consulting to benefit from the extensive experience built up in e-commerce solutions by our sister company Scyllogis Solutions”.

The insurecarhire.co.uk application allows any organization that loans or hires vehicles to register for an account and then, once accepted, to obtain quotes, bind the cover and produce cover documentation and the rental agreement. A workflow process within the application controls any underwriting referrals. Claims can also be registered through the application. Accounting bordereau for the scheme carriers are produced.

Scyllogis are currently working with Sky to undertake a series of enhancements to insurecarhire.co.uk to add more functionality and to make it even more user friendly for the end users.
